Explore Croatia

Croatia is a small country on the Adriatic Sea that is packed with stunning natural beauty.

From the towering cliffs of the Dalmatian Coast to the lush forests of the Dinaric Alps, there are endless photo opportunities in Croatia. Visitors can also explore charming medieval towns, hike through national parks, and sample the country's delicious food and wine.

There are many ways to travel through Croatia, but two of the best options are to rent a car or sail the coast. We've done both, and highly recommend sailing down the coast from Split, and driving back up north from Dubrovnik. Our guide is focused on the coastline only, because we believe this is the best way to experience the magic this land has to offer.

01 Explore Northern Croatia

Northern Croatia is a hidden gem for travel photographers. This region is home to stunning natural beauty, from the snow-capped peaks of the Dinaric Alps to the crystal-clear lakes of Plitvice National Park. Visitors can also explore charming medieval towns, hike through ancient forests, and sample the region's delicious food and wine. Sailing the coast is a great way to see the many islands and towns that line the Adriatic Sea. You can also anchor in secluded coves and take photos of the stunning scenery.
