Explore Britain

A small island with a lot to offer, Britain is rich with multilayered history, as diverse as it is eccentric, and a land where every place has a compelling story to tell.

While Britain is the name of the island, it actually consists of three countries, England, Scotland, and Wales that combine with Northern Ireland to make up the United Kingdom.

This magnificent island is just 874 miles from top to bottom, and packs in an incredibly diverse landscape across 15 national parks featuring mountains, glens, loughs, lakes, woodlands, moors and infinite adventure along the coast. Whether you're climbing Scottish peaks, hiking in the woodlands of Snowdonia or rambling over chalk white cliffs, Britain is a never-ending feast for the eyes.

01 Explore Scotland

With some of the largest wilderness areas in Western Europe, Scotland offers everything an adventurous photographer could want. In the northern highlands you will find some of the most beautiful mountains in Britain for landscape photography, complete with magical castles and lochs for capturing dramatic shots. For wildlife enthusiasts Scotland is a playground to explore and find golden eagles, wild stags, otters, seals and wales.

On the isles you will find unique rock formations that make you feel like you are walking in the realm of the fairies. You will also find some of the worlds best whisky distilleries to help you warm up after long days adventuring through the fantasy landscapes of Caledonia.

04 Explore Southern England

Southern England is a place where history is living in the present, with imposing castles, stately homes and medieval cathedrals routinely dotted across the landscape. Every place in England has a story to tell, and it's easy to find the inspiration behind JRR Tolkiens shire, JK Rowlings Hogwarts, and George RR Martins Westeros across the south of the country.

This part of the country is home to some of the most iconic scenes in Britain: the cliffs of Dover, Blenheim Palace, Stonehenge, Cotswolds Hills, Canterbury Cathedral and Warwick Castle to name a few. All of this combined makes the south of England a wonderful place for the photographer. It offers so many different and incredible landscapes, coastlines and views.
